CIFAL Lebanon hosts Workshop on Strengthening Project Impact through Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL)
In this context, CIFAL Lebanon has developed this 3-day workshop in which participants will gain a foundational understanding of MEAL systems, covering the entire process from planning and data collection to analysis, reporting, and adaptive learning. The course draws on global standards, field-tested models, and practical tools to help participants strengthen project effectiveness and accountability. This initiative is designed for MEAL officers and programme staff, as well as professionals working in the development and humanitarian sectors. It also targets strategic decision-makers and policy leads, independent consultants, and academic researchers. Early- to mid-career monitoring and evaluation practitioners, as well as representatives from local NGOs, INGOs, and implementing partners, will also benefit. In addition, the programme engages global and regional development stakeholders committed to advancing effective and evidence-based practices.
